Master Guides
Welcome, Master Guides and Candidates!
Greetings, everyone!
My name is Joshua Kittleson, and I’m thrilled to take on the role of your new Master Guide Coordinator, stepping into the shoes of Cesar Cruz. (Thank you, Cesar, for your amazing work!)
A Little About Me
For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Pathfinder staff with the Piedmont Park Thunderbirds. Before that, I was a proud Pathfinder in several clubs until I found my “home club” with Piedmont. Pathfinders is my passion—I love working with young people and sharing our mission with others. I’m excited to connect with all of you as we continue to grow together.
My Vision for Our Master Guides
I envision a strong, collaborative network where we support one another. Whether you need help with drilling, teaching an honor, or finding resources, I want to ensure we’re here for each other.
For example, I’m the author of the Braille Honor, and I’d be happy to teach it to your club! I also dabble in amateur bookbinding—if you’re curious, just ask.
Ready to Serve?
If you’re not currently involved in a club, I encourage you to complete the required background check and training. By doing so, you’ll be prepared to jump in when opportunities arise!
Stay Connected
Please take a moment to fill out the short Google form to the left or bellow. It only takes a few minutes, and feel free to share it with others who are working on their Master Guide journey.
If your club needs support, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help and to rally the community!
Thank you for your dedication and service. I look forward to working alongside you as we mentor and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Warm regards,
Joshua T. Kittleson
